Henry Armstrong born Henry Jackson is best known as a championship boxer who was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame with his cohorts Joe Louis and Jack Dempsey. He is the only boxer to have held the featherweight, lightweight and welterweight world titles at the same time.
Following his retirement from the ring in the mid-40’s, he turned to the ministry and eventually wrote his autobiography Gloves, Glory and God.
